Ferrari 288 GTO

Ferrari decided to soup up their popular 308GTB to compete in Group B races. That meant that at least 200 cars needed to be produced for road use to meet the homologation requirements.

In total 272 cars were produced between 1984 and 1987 but the Group B races were cancelled before the car could ever be raced.
