Jaguar SS100

The Jaguar SS100 is a 2-seat sports car built between 1936 and 1940. The 100 refers to its ability to travel at 100 mph, a noteable achievement at the time.

Before the second world war, the company that became Jaguar was called SS Cars Ltd and had its origins in Swallow Sidecar Company. Production stopped in 1940 and the company was tactfully renamed Jaguar when the war ended.

The SS100 has since become known as the Jaguar SS100.
